GOODBYE 2010, HELLO 2011! (December 2010)

2010 was quite a year. A lot of happenings and changes – be it politically or personally.
This year, we have chosen our 15th Philippine president, the son of former senator Ninoy Aquino and preceding Philippine president Cory Aquino – President Noynoy Aquino. Due to this, the Filipinos are expecting some, or most likely, huge political amendments for the next six years. We also had loads of breaking news this 2010 – entertainment, financial system, civics, or political affairs.
In my personal life, I believe that the year 2010 was a hodgepodge of disappointments and gaiety –disappointment regarding academics and family; gaiety a propos my friends and love life. Each frustration, though, was reciprocated by contentment.

If I were asked about the best bit of my 2010, I would say that it’s when I had him. He changed my perspective about love. He is my sunshine. He brightens up my life to the extremes. No matter how moody I am, he can still manage to make me smile. He never runs out of patience. He is always there to listen. He is the sweetest.. or not? Hahaha. Yes, he is really sweet. He cares for me like a daddy cares for his little girl. He loves me like no other. We may argue at certain times, but we make sure we get to fix it and.. voila! Love still matters at the end of the day. We have this certain bond that’s unbreakable. We are who we are when we’re together. We’re best friends. All I can say is, I have never been this blissful in my 17 years of existence. Not to mention that this exhilaration came when I least expect it. He is my first. I chose him to be my first. And I want him to be my last just so we can spend forever together. I know it sounds quite fairytale-ish, but who knows, as long as we keep on believing, loving, and… praying.

All in all, 2010 made my life utterly exultant. I hope that the coming years will do the same thing. I’d like to thank our Almighty God for all the strokes of luck that he has given me. For surrounding me such wonderful persons – my family, my friends, and my man. I want these people to stay in my life forever.
Let’s welcome 2011 with open arms. No lucky or unlucky. We make our own destiny. Let’s just pray for more blessings. More happiness. More love. Cheers!

Xx,

Wicked Wednesday (November 2011)

Mariell and I were stuck at the condo because our roomies Yana and Camille were.. well.. out for a night. Since it’s a holiday, we didn’t have classes. We don’t really have classes on Wednesdays, though, so I guess it’s not a big deal at all. Haha.

We woke up at around 11am. I then checked my phone and saw a text from my sister, Nikki, who lives on the other side of the street. She’s asking if we could have lunch together. I agreed, so Mariell and I headed to her place. We had a good lunch.

And then..

We had Moonleaf. \m/ We went gaga over the sticky notes stuff wherein you can right anything you want to say about.. Moonleaf, of course. Your Moonleaf experience, how their beverages taste.. etc. After writing, you have to stick it to their cork board where everyone can see it. Haha. We really took time writing ours. I tried to be creative as possible but that’s just not my thing. Sigh. So if ever you pass by Moonleaf Dapitan right now, you might be able to see our crazy posts. ;)
Caramel Milk Tea for me, Peppermint Milk Tea for Mariell, and Wintermelon Milk Tea for my sister, Nikki. Caramel tastes like.. caramel. Wintermelon is heavenly. Peppermint tastes.. more like a toothpaste. Hahaha. But we’d surely go there again some other time and prolly.. a new place to hang out? Hahaha ;)

Tagaytay. (December 2011)

It’s the last day of 2011.. exactly 4:03 in the morning.. and I’m still wide awake. I suppose this is the effect of the Grande Toffee Nut Latte I drank on our way from Tagaytay to Bulacan last night. Coffee has a pretty good kick in me, particularly when I’m studying, just when I need it the most. Well, depends on how strong the coffee is. Even so, it’s my certified all-nighter and I love it. But not at times like this when you lack hours of sleep due to a hectic vacay sched, mainly if you were on the road for 11 hours.

I had a really great bonding time with my aunt, cousin, and sister, though. Tagaytay is such a gorgeous place, known for its scenic views, especially the “small but deadly” Taal Volcano located in the middle of the Taal Lake. The climate is extremely chilly from nightfall ‘til daylight, in particular. So it was certainly a bad idea for me to wear short shorts. That’s why I ended up grabbing a hot coffee from Starbucks.

Wanna rock ‘em boots, scarves, leather jackets, and other winter clothes? Tagaytay is the place to be, then.. where people won’t give you serious looks for wearing such.

Too bad I haven’t transfered the photos from the camera yet. Idle me. Meanwhile, here’s a photo I got from Google, overlooking the Taal Lake and Volcano.

HOME SWEET HOME :) (January 2012)

..because I’m a frustrated photographer.

So this picture was supposed to emphasize the “sky lantern” lights outside our house all the way to the garden.

Our living room. :) Yes, my mom always decorate our house depending on the occasion or season. She’s creative just like that. One thing I didn’t get from her. Heehee.
These used to be in our garden, where my parents chill early in the morning sipping their hot coffee. I don’t know why mom removed it there.

 Our bar :) Wine, anyone?

 Dining table :)

Dining room sliding door and Dining table :)

Don’t you just love the red bow? ;)

 Christmas tree ;)

SORRY FOR THE LOW QUALITY PHOTOS ;)

*Wrote this last January, I think. It was intended for the Christmas season so as you can see, the frills of our house are Christmas-ish. Hahaha.

Got all those bitches shaking in fear. Quick to talk shit, yet scared to come near. (January 2012)

Found this blog post in my Tumblr site which was written by yours truly months from now. Just thought it's blogworthy and I'm really importing my Tumblr posts here, so.. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s funny how people manage to spend time talking shit behind your back, rather than living their own life. It’s like, blathering about you is already a part of their daily routine. Like, they can never get away without it. What’s even funnier is that, not in the slightest do they get dead beat of all the tittle-tattles that they speak. Funniest, they can’t even say it straight to your face.

I can’t help to feel sorry for these kinds of people. They strive so hard to spoil someone’s life, but they don’t get the picture that the life they’re trying to ruin..  is theirs. That is, if they have a life at all. Imagine, stressing yourself for someone. Well, that someone must mean a lot to you. Every day, they are talking about you; every day, they are dealing with their own jealousy and insecurity. Accusing you of something you never did is absolute stupidity, chewing the fat about you is obnoxious, and hating you for nothing is just extremely pointless. I guess haters haven’t realized that yet. But, due to their narrow, constricted, diluted, absurd minds.. maybe they will just never realize it. Well, it’s not really your fault if the things they want exert a pull on you; if they never experienced fidelity; if they’re not considered as someone to be serious with; if they’re not the person worth waking up to; if they’re the one who has a bad reputation; if they’re known for their sluttiness/jerkiness; mostly, if they’re fucked up.

And to the haters, don’t blame someone if you can’t get over with your personal crap and idiocy. Don’t point your finger at someone just because you don’t have anyone else to reproach. You should really haul over the coals at yourself for the muddled life that you have. You’re just a bunch of social climbers, wannabes, harlots, trollops, and cocottes. Whichever you prefer.. rather, whichever suits you most. You. Know. Nothing. Unless you want the truth spilled out in your face. Just give a holla if you can handle that.
It’s 2012, people, for crying out loud. If it’s even true that it’s the end of the world, do you really wanna spend the rest of your life hating on someone who doesn’t even care for your existence; wasting your time for your own idle talks? Go ahead and talk your shit, but here’s a word of advice. Click your heels together & say “I need a life”.

I talk about this for the majority. Men and women receiving senseless hates. I’ve seen a lot of hatred from this to that and it just baffles me how people stand living their life that way. They just love making up things that get into their nerves. It’s just pathetic.

A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.
Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others. He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind.

Hate makes you ugly. Oops, too late! ;-)

Any reactions, comments, or suggestions? Feel free to approach me in person and say it straight to my face. Well, that is if you have the guts to do so. ;-)
