What took off in such a haste and just left me hanging? Yes folks, you got it right-- Christmas. (And for you guys who thought it's something/one else, you have a malicious mind! Haha just kidding!) How was it? How did you celebrate it? I bet some of you are on Christmas hangover just like me. Sigh. In fact, I am munching on our Christmas leftovers as we speak. Haha! (Please don't judge me! Please? Please? Pretty please?) You would understand me if your mom is a good cook as well, that you'd eat everything she prepares on the table even if that means eating them over and over again! Makes sense, right? Fine, maybe I really am just a fatty mcfatterson lol! Hey, this is the season to be jolly, and eating makes me jolly so there goes my excuse! (Shame on me, I know haha) Anyway, let's cut to the chase, shall we? These photos were taken a few days ago but this is the exact dress I wore on Christmas day. At first, I wanted to wear something green or red to keep the Christmas festivity vibe going on, but I didn't want to be accused of wearing Christmas fatigues so I went with this plain nude dress. I chose to cinched my waist with this brown belt to add a pop of color. Since I'm keeping my look all neutral, I just sticked to nude and brown hues because they belong to the same color family and these two are good for color blocking. With a simple outfit like this, sometimes you just have to let your shoes do the talking. These heels highly complemented my look. Did I mention how nice they are? The gold embellishment definitely added refinement to the whole get up. I wanted to carry on the subtlety of this look so I settled on minimal accessories. What do you think?
